I was the QUEEN 👑 of “I’ll just start Monday” for yeaaaarssss… (and to be totally transparent, because I’m human – of course I still have my moments)
But underneath that, what we’re really saying is, “I’m not willing to be uncomfortable.”
Our brains are actually programmed to stick to what we know – even if it isn’t the healthiest option, even if we know there’s a better way, even when we’re certain of the benefits of changing – we like what makes us comfortable.
And so we anchor down in these limiting beliefs of “not today” or “not me”
