Have you ever asked yourself, “do I need to change how I work out for my cycle?”
Well the answer is both yes and no!
I don’t think you have to change what type of movement you do, for example you don’t have to lift in one phase and then do yoga in another – The intensity level is what we want to pay attention to!
>> In the last days of your luteal phase (the phase following ovulation) and the first few days of your menstrual phases, you may have lower energy and not feel up to intense workouts and that’s okay!
At minimum I at least recommend resting (or active recovery/ walks) for the first few days of your menstrual phase!
