1 in 10 women have endometriosis.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉🏼 Endometriosis is a disease in which the tissue inside of the uterus grows outside of it. It can be extremely painful, resulting in bloating, clots, heavy bleeding, and more.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I know women who have endometriosis and experience it without little to no symptoms, but it takes some time, effort, and patience!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The severity of endometriosis symptoms depend on hormonal imbalance, inflammation, toxin exposure, + nutrients.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So let’s talk about 3 major things that can help to reduce endometriosis symptoms!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⚡️Chart your cycle – Pay attention to your cycle, your mood, your flow, your symptoms. Keep track with the intention of understanding your body. This can help you understand your body’s patterns as you explore your health and can provide you with answers.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⚡️Change your period products – Regular period products are filled with crap. The ingredients in tampons aren’t regulated, meaning we have no clue what we’re inserting into our bodies: dyes, fragrances, bleach, etc. Opt for organic produce, period cups, reusable pads.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⚡️Increase fiber – Endometriosis has to do with imbalanced hormones and specifically – estrogen dominance. Having healthy, daily bowel movements are essential for eliminating waste like excess estrogen + toxins. Chia seeds, flax seeds, + psyllium husk are all great sources of fiber that will encourage healthy bowel movements.
