“What does pleasure have to do with period health?”
Valid question but let me hit you with some #truth real quick
Our sexual energy and sense of femininity can be compromised by period problems or the disconnect can contribute to period problems.
My confidence took a major blow when I started dealing with acne and I held the belief for a long time that once I healed my acne, my confidence issues would go away.
Spoiler: My acne went away but my self-loathing did not!
When you spend so much time in a headspace that brings you down, all the healthy eating in the world likely won’t completely bring you out of that.
Healing the emotional is equally as important as healing the physical so that you can actually feel fulfilled by the way you’re taking care of yourself.
Because who wants to take care of a body they don’t feel good in?
When I started working through these emotional blocks I uncovered a lot of limiting beliefs and what ifs…
What if my body doesn’t actually want to heal?
What if I always have health issues?
What if I never feel comfortable in this body?
And the kicker is that there was no way to prove to myself that these were just beliefs and not truths
But I kept showing up to the faith that these were in fact not my truths…
And I tapped into pleasure –
Showering myself with love, finding excitement in my day-to-day, and over time I cultivated a beautiful relationship with myself and my body
And you can too
In Everyday Pleasure I’m going to guide you exactly how to find pleasure every day – we’re going deeper than masturbation and orgasms – we’re getting you fired up about the life you live, who you are, and the body you get to do all it in.
