I am a Holistic Health Practitioner, energy healer, podcaster, Atlanta local, period expert, sexual health educator, and so much more.
Have you ever wondered why you should be eating good fats for your period health?
Being fully nourished is essential for hormone balance.
The body needs adequate levels of protein, fats, and carbs to stay fueled enough to have a healthy cycle.
I want you to think of healthy fats as one of the major pillars of your nutrition because they can be anti-inflammatory and they serve as the building blocks for our steroid hormones – estrogen and progesterone.
One study even found that consuming healthy levels of fat-reduced chance of anovulation (ovulation not occurring).
Consumptions of high quality, good fats is necessary for having healthy hormones ππΌ
