Seed Cycling supports the body in sex hormone production and elimination 👏🏼
These seeds are high in vitamins, fats, and fiber, which make them a great addition to your diet because they meet nutritional needs and help to detoxify the body of excess hormones through our stool.
⚡️ Days 1-14: Flax Seeds + Pumpkin Seeds
Lignans are polyphenols found in seeds, and they’re very high in flaxseeds. Flax seeds have been proven to help alleviate, breast tenderness associated with periods, PCOS symptoms, and high androgen levels.
Pumpkin Seeds are a great source of magnesium and zinc, meaning that they can lower inflammation, help to prevent joint pain, boost sleep, and reduce headaches.
⚡️ Days 15-28: Sesame Seeds + Sunflower Seeds
Sesame seeds have a certain type of lignan that has been found to help regulate cycles. They’re rich in magnesium and zinc, but also in Vitamin B1 which has been shown to reduce the severity of cramps and can help to reduce other PMS symptoms.
Sunflower seeds are packed with vitamins like B1, B6, Vitamin E, Magnesium, and Zinc – which can help address nutrient levels to prevent period symptoms + period problems.
🌿 I did a LIVE Q+A in the Facebook community this week covering a TON of info on Seed Cycling + answering top questions like when to start, how to do it, and ways to eat the seeds.
