When you should worry about changes in your cycle.
I get a lot of really panicked DM’s from people with periods who are experiencing an off cycle and worried it means that their hormones are totally out of balance
And I’m going to save you a lot of stress here –
⭐️ The cycle you’re having right now is a combination of things that happened over the past 3 months (#science) so if you’re a bit later this month, or if you’ve got heavier cramps than normal, or if you’re more fatigued than usual – that doesn’t mean your health has gone to shit!
More than likely, this is just an indicator that we’ve been under more stress than usual and our body is reacting to that.
Okay so WHEN is the time to worry about cycle changes?
I generally don’t worry about these kinds of changes unless they occur for 2-3+ cycles (usually consecutively, but not always). For example, if each cycle gets longer and longer or if all of a sudden each cycle comes with intense pain – then we may want to explore creating some balance and addressing the root causes.
If cycle changes have you stressed tf out, come join us in the Get Cliterate Facebook group where I answer questions, do live trainings, and you can get endless support from the most amaaaazing community of womxn (truly, I’ve never seen more supportive space on the internet).
🥰For more support, ask inside my Facebook community, DM me on Instagram, listen to the Get Cliterate podcast, or read my blog, Or all of the above?! Hehe 💛
