I don’t believe that acne ever has just one root cause ❗️ because our skin is our biggest eliminator and it often reacts to so many things – stress, inflammation, toxin overload, hormones, etc.
For most women, there’s usually about five reasons why we may be experiencing adult acne:

✨A combo of the above
Even when I have a client who has lots of hormonal acne symptoms, we’re still working with inflammation, the gut, detoxification pathways, AND hormones.
👉🏼 This is why I believe I struggled SO HARD for so long to heal the acne I had – I was JUST targeting the acne. I was fighting my skin instead of working with my system to create harmony and balance and an environment that made it easy to heal.
Being a holistic health practitioner means that my job is to look at the body as a whole, not just one piece or one symptom.
