A refreshing sleepy girl mocktail made with lemon, ginger, and tart cherry to encourage quality sleepy, and happy hormones.
This recipe is VERY simple… you will only need 2 ingredients (well… 3 if you include ice)
The hero ingredient in this recipe is tart cherry juice (we are going to want plain tart cherry juice with no added sugar).
So… why tart cherry juice? The reason for this ingredient is that cherries can increase the melatonin available in the body. Melatonin is a hormone our bodies make in response to darkness and promotes a healthy sleep/wake cycle. Healthy melatonin production promotes better sleep.
Fill glass with ice (if desired)
Add 1 cup of tart cherry juice to glass
Top with Lemon Ginger Olipop or Poppi & enjoy!
