There’s a hierarchy of hormone and gut healing that helps balance your body. On multiple occasions, I have said that I don’t care what you’re eating or your workouts or what supplements you’re taking if stress management, poop, and sleep aren’t in check – and I really want to clarify exactly what I mean…
>> A nutrition protocol or key supplements have no chance at healing the body if the system is stressed tf out, constipated, and running on 4 hours of sleep and a cup of coffee (or… make that 4 cups) 🥴

We’ve got to work on those foundational pieces for the rest of it to matter 👏🏼

These shifts work together really well – for example, my Hormone Bootcamp clients go through a nutrition protocol while also working on stress/ sleep/ poop/ etc.

But if we’re trying to lose weight by cutting calories and intense exercise or we’re doing some sort of “gut detox” over the weekend and expecting things to be better on Monday – we’re not setting ourselves up for success.

With clients, I spend a majority of our time on the basics: nutrition 101, sleeping regularly, reducing inflammation, poop…

And when I was working on my own wellness after coming off of hormonal birth control, I literally spent YEARS trying to heal my body because I wanted to skip over the basics.
