When our hormones are out of balance, the body will usually struggle to lose weight for two reasons:

Weight gain is a byproduct of hormone imbalances, a sluggish thyroid, consuming too many or too few calories, stress, not getting enough sleep, activity levels, etc.
BUT, when we’re supporting hormone health, most of the reasons we would gain unnecessary weight are actually already being addressed
Most of my clients don’t have to actively “work on” weight loss because it is a result of taking care of their hormone health
It can be frustrating to know that we need to focus on healing before we can work on changing our body composition, but it is necessary for longterm, lasting results!
Because once hormone support is in motion and the body feels safe, then we can begin to actually target the aspects of our physical body that we may want to shift.
