🙅♀️ A low-carb diet can prevent ovulation or make ovulation very difficult. Low-carb can create a stress response in the body that can throw off our digestive health, hormone balance, and blood sugar (so no, I DON’T recommend Keto for most women!)
👉🏼 No foods are “good” or “bad” but my favorite carbs for hormone health are slow burning carbs because they break down slowly in the body and aren’t likely to spike our insulin levels and throw off our sex hormones
