My life changed drastically when I started prioritizing my health. I only started focusing on my health out of necessity – my symptoms were so overwhelming and something *had* to give. In today’s post, we are breaking down 9 things that can harm gut bacteria.
I fought it for SO long because I thought taking action around my health would suck 🤦♀️ I figured that I’d miss out on everything because I’d be the friend who had to eat special, I thought that I’d overthink everything about my body be stressed forever…
LOL boy was I wrong… because my life got insanely BETTER
I used to miss SO many things because I felt either mentally or physically terrible (or both). When I started focusing on my health, I didn’t have to cancel dates because my acne was so bad and I was mortified, I didn’t have to skip a pool day with friends because I was so bloated that it hurt, I didn’t have to call in sick to work because my cramps were so bad I couldn’t stand, and I didn’t have to miss out on events because I was out of energy by 2pm.
Skyrocketed. Because feeling good ALL. MONTH. LONG. really ignites a love and passion for your body! I went from worrying about every single symptom, focusing on my weight, and talking down to my body, to feeling in control of my health and building myself up!
As I felt more educated on my body and my symptoms, I stopped overthinking everything. Of COURSE you’re going to feel stressed when your skin is breaking out and you have no clue why. We stress about our health when we feel out of control and uneducated about what’s going on. Through healing, I learned about my body. I felt connected to it. I no longer felt stressed, I felt empowered.
My life changed drastically when I started prioritizing my health because I finally felt confident, in control, and empowered af.
