I am a Holistic Health Practitioner, energy healer, podcaster, Atlanta local, period expert, sexual health educator, and so much more.
I always love the reaction when I’m on a call with a new client (my OG’s are used to it by now 😉) and hitting them with the “so tell me about your bowel movements? Today we are talking about 5 Things You Can Do to Address Unhealthy Bowel Movements
If you’ve got poop problems, that’s where we’ve got to start.
Irregular or unhealthy BM’s can contribute to symptoms like:
⚡️Bloating or abdominal pain
⚡️Hormonal imbalances
⚡️An unhealthy gut microbiome
⚡️Increased inflammation linked to food sensitivities, rashes, and acne
Here’s 5 things you can start 👇🏼 if you’re struggling with poop probs:
⭐️ Are you drinking enough water? No matter what type of poop probs you’re dealing with, staying hydrated is essential.
⭐️ A serving of psyllium husk daily – this is a favorite of mine because it works in cases of constipation and loose stool. It also serves as a prebiotic that can help boost gut health!
⭐️ Cook your veggies – And start eating more of them for that matter! Veggies are a great source of fiber and are easier to digest when they’ve been cooked.
⭐️ Magnesium – Supplementing with mag can be helpful for encouraging regular movements
⭐️ 1 cup of warm broth with each meal – Soothing to the digestive tract and helps to support the gut microbiome
Calee Shea is a Holistic Health Practioner based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is your go-to gal for all things periods, vaginal health, and sex.
Is there a magnesium supplement you recommend? And a brand of psyllium husk?
I like the brand Pure Encapsulations or Zhou Nutrition for magnesium! For psyllium husk, I would recommend the capsules over powder – I like Organic India Psyllium Organic Whole Husk Fiber!
