I’m sure you’ve heard countless horror stories about women who came off of their hormonal birth control and their bodies went to shit. Let’s talk about “Post-Birth Control Syndrome”
I’m one of them 👋🏼
But that doesn’t have to be your story.
I’d argue that there’s 3 reasons a woman may experience hell on earth after ditching HBC:
1️⃣ They quit cold turkey – If the body isn’t supported well before coming off HBC + for the first few months after – then its likely that detoxification is sluggish, hormones are imbalanced, nutrient levels are low, and gut health is compromised. Say hello to ALL the symptoms!
2️⃣ Their hormones were whacked-out prior to HBC, HBC didn’t fix it, and now they’re back in full force. – A lot of women go on HBC for period problems. There is a big chance that post-HBC, those problems may even be worse due to the impacts that hormonal birth control can have on our health.
3️⃣ All of the above
⭐️ Post-Birth Control Syndrome is the common name for post-HBC hair loss, acne, hormone headaches, weight changes, loss of period, and more and it serves as a title for the group of symptoms that can show up when we stop taking hormonal birth control.
Birth control works by disconnecting the conversation between your brain and your body 🧠💭 so when we encourage that to start back up again, there can be a bit of a learning curve.
Coming off of HBC gracefully could be considered a science or an art and the ladies that have gone through Hormone Bootcamp learn the why and more importantly, the HOW, to breaking up with HBC properly
The program is designed to aid you in getting to the bottom of period problems + mind/ body imbalances so that you can address the root cause and heal it for good.
