MY STORY

Welcome!
Whether you're a new face or an old one, I am honored to have you here.
In short - My name is Calee and I'm passionate about places and faces. Anyone who knows me claims that I live in my own world, but you can find what it is filled with right here. I am a college student, currently in Nursing school, while doubling in Psychology (am I crazy? Quite possibly...). I have plans to continue my education and become a Nurse Practitioner. I am also pursuing my education in nutrition online at IIN.
I am madly in love with physical movement (EXCEPT for running and leg day - I just have to suck it up). My current workout consists of LOTS of yoga, cycling, and a few HIIT sessions per week. But, I have been known to incorporate everything into my workouts. Cycling, BBG, lifting, body weight, HIIT, boxing, rowing - You name it, I probably love it.
My original purpose here was to promote fitness to young women as a way to heal a broken mindset. In the past few years I have learned that good mental health is so much more than a good workout (though it plays a big role). I have found beauty in all forms of self expression and my original mission has transitioned from solely promoting fitness, to promoting overall health. Inner and outer beauty, self-care, good eating and sleep habits, and much more.
I believe in passion, positivity, bravery, self-empowerment, and adventure. I hope to inspire young women to celebrate self-love through sharing my personal journey.

LOVES

RELAXATION

I am a big believer in having time to yourself. I am most definitely an extroverted-introvert and need plenty of time to recharge each day. A few ways I do this is painting, writing, through yoga, reading, and watching documentaries or TED talks!

THE OUTDOORS

The beach, a hike, or simply a walk on the trail near my house put me in the best mood. I love being outside, specifically in the sunshine. If It could be sunny and 75 year-round for me, I'd be the happiest girl in the world.

TEA

Breaking the trend of "but first coffee," I am hooked on hot teas. I stopped drinking coffee a few months ago and haven't looked back. Nothing better than a yogi tea with lemon and kuzu root!

BEING A VOICE

I have a huge passion for living beings and am very involved in bringing awareness to environmental ethics and animal rights. You'll catch me ranting about it plenty on Snapchat or Instagram.

HOMEBODY AND ADVENTURER

Can't I be appreciative of both?! Absolutely! I would sell one of my kidneys at the opportunity to backpack across Europe, but there is also no better feeling to me than crawling into bed with a good book. I love me some adventure, but I like being comfy too!

YOGA + FITNESS

My fitness journey began about 4 years ago and it has been both easy and challenging. I have found such pride in strengthening and bettering myself and I am grateful for the opportunity to share that with the world.

COOKING

My mom had this fear that I'd never be able to cook because I used to burn EVERYTHING, but in the past two years, I like to believe that I have become quite the chef. My favorite type of food to make is anything that can be classified as Asian Cuisine. Future goal: To write and publish some sort of cookbook.

POETRY

I have recently started publishing some of my poetry and writings on Instagram. I love expressing myself in this way. Yoga, cooking, poetry - all forms of passionate acts of self expression that I love to pursue.

MUSIC

My first passion in this world was music. I still play around with my guitar and some vocals every so often. And not to brag, but I have a few pretty bangin' Spotify playlists that I'm a little too proud of.

PRIMARY FOODS

At the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I learned a lot about the idea of Primary Foods. "Primary food is more than what is on your plate. Healthy relationships, regular physical activity, a fulfilling career and a spiritual practice can fill your soul and satisfy your hunger for life. When primary food is balanced and satiating, your life feeds you, making what you eat secondary." - IIN I put a lot of work into keeping my Primary and Secondary Foods healthy and whole!
